Neste Domingo, dia 26, acontece a 62ª edição do Grammy Awards, cerimônia de premiação da The Recording Academy dos Estados Unidos, que presenteia os profissionais da indústria musical. A cerimônia começa às 22h e terá apresentação de Alicia Keys.
Em meio a denuncias de assédio, corrupção e racismo contra integrantes The Recording Academy, o Grammy tem a cantora Lizzo, indicada à oito categorias, como um dos principais nomes desta edição.
Atrás de Lizzo, vêm Billie Eilish e Lil Nas X, seis indicações; Ariana Grande e H.E.R., com cinco; Beyoncé, Gary Clark Jr. e J. Cole, com quatro.
A banda Aerosmith será celebrada com o Pessoa do Ano MusiCares, categoria honorária concedida a artistas renomados por suas contribuições artísticas à indústria fonográfica e dedicação filantrópica,numa cerimônia que precede o evento.
APRESENTAÇÕES
Mais de 16 artistas já confirmaram apresentações na cerimônia do Grammy, são eles: Aerosmith & Run-DMC (tocando “Walk This Way“), Camila Cabello, Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, H.E.R., Jonas Brothers, Lizzo, Demi Lovato (retornando aos palcos depois de longo hiato), Ben Platt, Bonnie Raitt, Rosalía, Blake Shelton & Gwen Stefani, Tanya Tucker & Brandi Carlile, Tyler, the Creator e Charlie Wilson.
Haverá também um tributo ao rapper Nipsey Hussle, morto em março de 2019. Entre os artistas que farão a homenagem, estão DJ Khaled, Kirk Franklin, John Legend, Meek Mill, Roddy Ricch e YG.
